When searching for a boat, many turn out to be a big waste of your valuable time because the voice on the phone assures you that the boat is clean and in ‘great’ condition. You take the day off only to find out that it’s much less than you expected. Unless you are a first time buyer or you’re the luckiest person alive, you have experienced this. I do all of the leg work for you so you make the most of your time and money by only looking at quality boats! The process of buying a used boat is often an emotional experience. The marine dealership's sales department care about making the sale first and foremost. And the used boat market is worse as they don't even pretend to care if the boat fits your needs. In the end, they all want one thing, to separate you from your money. I work for you to make sure you know what boats meet your needs and to save your valuable time by weeding out the junk. A surveyor's job is to inspect the boat and report any deficiency and provide you with a condition report. Once you have chosen a boat, it is in your best interest to hire your own surveyor to inspect the boat in question BEFORE you sign on the dotted line. Their fee averages between $8 and $10 per linear foot. If you have all the time and money that you need, you don’t need me. If you love shopping, you don’t need me.
